Chevrolet Capitol Aa for hire in Colden Common
Hire this Chevrolet Capitol Aa for your event
This 1927 Chevrolet Capitol AA convertible was manufactured in Canada, then exported to South Africa for local assembly there (to avoid paying import duty on cars built overseas), hence it is very rare as a right-hand-drive model. It was then imported to UK in 2007, where it was fully restored.
The Chevrolet looks stunning with its cream and red bodywork, and especially when the weather allows for the top to be lowered. Just imagine travelling (leisurely) to your wedding in this carriage, and how the photos with you and this car will enhance your wedding album !!
There is a large amount of leg room in the rear, so even the largest of wedding gowns can easily be accommodated, and two people can sit in comfort on the large rear bench seat, plus one passenger on the front bench seat.
The Chevrolet only has drum brakes on the rear wheels, so its performance is limited by comparatively long braking distances (and the handling with skinny tyres on wooden spoked wheels). Hence we do not use motorways (because of the significant speed difference with other motorists) and average only 30 mph on a run, so please bear this in mind when considering the distance to be covered on your wedding day.
