VW 1975 Bay Window called Bilbo with 1978 camper converted into the trailer. My VW Bus was fully restored in 2010 and the trailer was build in 2012 ( out of 1978 camper )
In October 2016 i have decided to change the engine and it is now powered by water cooled Subaru 2l engine with 115hp. Black&white graphics are not permanent. They were printed onto self adhesive vinyl and they can be removed if needed or changed at extra cost.
The trailer was built 7 years ago out of 1978 camper van and the effect is phenomenal especially when combined with my bus in the same colour with black&white graphics.The total weight of the trailer is 800kg
Inside the trailer you will find double bed in the back ( 165cm wide ) and the single bed ( 60cm wide ) bed/seat in the front.
Front section has loading compartment with the 2.5” oak tabletop.
There is lots of storage underneath the beds to be followed by the additional space in the engine compartment ( please note that there is no engine there. just empty space used for storing camping equipment, chairs, etc…)
There is also small car battery with the intelligent charger inside the trailer.
Trailer has an original Devon full length side elevating roof which is very handy and makes the inside space totally useable.
Other important features: Alko towbar, knott brakes, aluminum frame made by bus factory Solaris, bluetooth handsfree telephone connection. Genuine black&white leather interior, 2 x full size spare wheel
