Jaguar MK9
Hire this Jaguar MK9 for your event
This handsome luxury wedding car with its elegant chrome trim and sweeping curves embodies the space, grace and pace that Jaguar cars became famous for. In its day, the Jaguar Mk 9 was considered to be on a par with the contemporary Bentley S-Type and Rolls Royce Silver Dawn.
As can be seen from its distinctive number plates, this car, which is known as ‘Gordon’, originates from Glasgow. Finished in Old English White which is the soft white similar to Ivory and a warming rich Connolly red leather interior with lamb’s wool over rugs elegantly accompanied by highly polished burr walnut veneers to the door tops, dashboard and rear picnic tables this superb and now rare British icon will not fail to impress. In fact, H.M. Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother used one for her private motoring for 18 years. Many of the sumptuous touches in the Mk 9 are as a direct result of her patronage.
This luxurious limousine even has a fridge in the boot for keeping your celebration drinks cool! Similar size to the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud but with a sleeker look in photographs, they do have slightly less head room but are comparable in other dimensions such as seat width and leg room. The appearance of the Jaguar Mk 9 wedding car gives it both street appeal and as well as looking great in wedding photographs.
Although the Jaguar Mk 9 is a five-passenger limousine, we recommend the Jaguar is limited to four passengers when transporting wedding parties and bridesmaids. We do suggest that the car takes three passengers when used as a bridal car for the bride and the father of the bride on the way to the ceremony, or for the bride and groom after they are married.
