This is a very original 1961 Series 2 Land Rover. A 2-year total restoration has been completed based on a new chassis. Every nut and bolt is literally new. It starts on the button and runs smoothly and it has an overdrive fitted. The only concession to the 21st century is a pair of USB charging ports in the dash for phone charging and/or satnav. In the summer it can be used 'stripped down' that is to say from having its canvas sides rolled up right through to having the door tops and hood removed. Please note that the car will come as per the photos with the hoops and canvas hood attached.  I can (at no extra cost) roll the sides up and the back up.  If you wanted it like a convertible (i.e. no door tops and no roof as per one of the photos, let me know. If in the summer it may already be stripped down but if not I can give you a cost (it isn’t a quick job removing everything …).  Also be aware that it is of course windy when fully stripped down!

As this is an historic vehicle there are no seat belts as none were fitted originally.

I provide steps to aid getting in and out.
 
We take great care in giving the car a full valet clean immediately prior to a job but do be aware that this car is used regularly (not kept in a museum!), has lots of bumps and like all old Land Rovers are, very agricultural & basic - but beautiful!
