ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC AND RECOGNISABLE MOVIE CARS OF ALL TIME
This car will be instantly recognisable because it is identical in every way - including the Monaco white exterior and the tartan interior - to the car that appeared in the 1977 James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me".
This very early example of the Lotus Esprit left the Lotus factory in August 1976, and is the 36th of 271 UK right-hand drive "series 1" Esprits built...the actual car driven by Roger Moore in the movie was the 22nd car built and currently on display at a motor museum in Orlando, Florida.
The car you see here underwent a full nut and bolt restoration during 2015/2016, and having covered less than 1500 miles since remains in absolutely pristine condition.
Given the provenance this car would be a super cool addition to any historic motor event, but obviously would be ideal for any event with a specific James Bond theme.
